Anugerah Cemerlang

No luxury of a proper hall :-(
Aliah got As for her UPSR subjects in her final exams. As encouragement, the school has decided to give recognition for the good work done. A total of 99 Year 1 gor 5As and 4As 1B this year. Aliah didn't get any for the individual subjects, but.. well.. I'm a champion for education and knowledge. While I'd love to see Aliah getting the string of As, I want her to have a balance life.

The only time I got on stage to receive such things was in Std 2 and Std 6, and it was not for any of the subjects (I'm the average student). It was for "Kelakuan".. well, in CBN, one gets recognised for being baik

congratulation to Aliah.... Thu 30-Nov-2006 08:56

Aliah only had Nasha to play around with over our stay in Alai. The other 3 cousins went back to Perlis. She had a hard time keeping her pencils, colour pencils and books away from Nasha .. Maklumlah.. org tak ada other siblings..

I've never done this before. Tak corporate betui..! I duuno know where to put my raya cards (no luxury of having a large work station anymore..), so that's where they all landed.

Eid Mubarak to all. Maaf zahir & batin.

New office

Work station on 1st day
Our library
Work station on 3rd week
My second week at the new office, adjusting well. Colleagues are great, a fun bunch. 2 things i like about this new place: no lack of lunch options and the LRT Dunno how long I'll stay, but things are alrite for the time being.

My 3rd week: Check out the flat screen. De envy of my colleagues

Arrived KL on Sunday, 4 Sep. It was an educational and wonderful trip! Here are some other pics to share. Saw real life panda at Beijing Zoo - tido jer! And there's cakoi too. Cakoi = pegawai jahat yg digoreng. There're a lot of bicycles, no motorbikes - banned from the streets to control pollution. And oh!.. toilet with no doors It only has a half partition and u can actually see teh other person doing business. We had this lamb for dinner, sedap..

Toilet tu still okay...the one I had to go at Pilanesberg in South Africa had a big elephant dung outside the door and the smell of it...tak terdescribe Did you see someone's butt while you were in there?? he he..Aah...wish I'm a panda Mon 20-Nov-2006 09:08

Beijing: Summer Palace

150m long 17 Arch Bridge

A beautiful place. It served as a suburban pleasance for emperors, a place in the countryside yet near the capital. Has history of >800 years. The lake surrounding it is mand-made, called the Kunming Lake. The place depicts West Lake in Hangzhou.

Beijing: Forbidden City

This is the residence of the emperors for nearly five hundred years, from the 15th century to the early 20th century, and was the actual and symbolic seat of imperial power. Covers an area of over 2,350,000 sq feet and contains 9,999 rooms. The emperor was said to have 3,000 gundiks and they all have living quarters in there. The architecture was magnificent. I like the colours and designs they have on the tiang and roofs. In the middle of a stairway, is a huge piece of marble carving of nine dragons playing with pearls. It is the biggest stone sculpture in the Forbidden City.
